Palestinian beats, bites Jerusalem traffic policewomen

Two Jerusalem traffic policewomen were assaulted by a 40-year-old Palestinian in the city center Sunday afternoon during a routine id check, police said.

The Palestinian assailant, who was first detained after crossing the street on a red light and then asked to produce his ID and a work permit, began beating the policewoman with a stick, while shouting in Arabic "Allah Akbar" ("God is Great").

A second policewoman who came to her help was subsequently bitten in the neck by the assailant. A back-up police unit arrived at the scene and arrested the attacker, while the two policewomen were given medical treatment.

The Israelis have only themselves to blame for being nice. The more they give away, the more everyone else demands. They should open the jails, free the Palestinians prisoners, withdraw to the pre-1967 borders (for most of the territory, just keeping some territory to protect religious sites), and basically give the Palestinians whatever they want for a year or two.

Then, when peace doesn't come, put the country on full nuclear alert, invade the Palestinian areas, transfer them out for good (and pave over any who refuse to leave), and start waving the nuclear stick like a madman. Kim Jong-Il gets more respect from the UN than Ariel Sharon does. Sharon should just start playing by UN rules.

So why do we keep trying to use women as police? This is the way it always plays out. They actually run into someone bent on violence and get the snot kicked out of them until the men arrive.

How many times I've seen a lady cop in the USA pull over a car and have a male cop watching from behind. Why do we pay them for this?

Well, it's the same with why are ther cops the same hieght as me?
(I'm 5'5" tall and skinny as a beanpole.)
Cops my size get no respect at all.

FEMALE cops my size get no respect.
I myself do not understand it.
However.. I did run into a female cop that was rather, shall we say, interested in constantly patting me down.
Not that I minded, being the red blooded male that I am.
But there was a bit of surrealness about the whole thing.
(I admit, she was cute. And I was probably 'asking for it' by staring at her with my stupid jaw hanging open..)

But If I had been a maleficent type bent on victimizing women?
I highly doubt that she would have been able to fend even me off.
(But I have seen female cops that could squeeze my head off my shoulders. *Shudder*)
