CNN Just Revealed It Was a B-52 That Dropped A bomb on Nagasaki in 1945!
CNN at aprox. 9:20 PM, CDST

By accident, I stopped on CNN just as they were doing a story on the anniversary of the successful peace action at Nagasaki in 1945. They showed some older Japanese people as the female announcer, in a voice deep and wet with concern, told about today's moment of silence at 11:02 in commeration of the time in 1945 when "a B-52 dropped an atomic bomb on Nagasaki."

Well put:
That is like saying the Space Shuttle put men on the moon. I have seen glaring inaccuracies in the media, but they don't care. A Story is more than just facts to the left-wing media.

Oh, I thought they were using ebonics math.

Actually, I should have said, "ABC World News Now". It's ABC's overnight version of CNN, and it's even worse than CNN and Peter-head Jennings. I know that's hard to believe, but it's true.

I hit the link in the earlier post and Laughed my arse off! The speed of light at 186,000 miles per second would make this space shuttle travel at (18*186,000)*60 sec/min * 60 min/hour=12,052,800,000. OVER 12 BILLION MILES PER HOUR! Was Warp 12 even possible on Star Trek?

I have absolutely no sympathy for the Japanese. I used to volunteer to help out at the VA hospital and heard horror stories from guys who had been in the Pacific Theatre, as a stupid high school kid who had only read about stuff--usually sanitized by whatever author--I had not encountered the "what really happened" part of it. After talking to these guys, I realized what a barbaric bunch of fiends they had to deal with. It was a real eye opener.

My dad helped design the ball turret on the B-29, or at least that's what he thinks. I'll have to tell him that despite his Nuclear Clearance that should have given him the real scoop (nuclear clearance was a big deal in those days), he was just mislead by the "big coverup," it was really the B-52 that he was working on.
To: Tacis
a B-52 dropped an atomic bomb on Nagasaki Man, the old bird is even older than I thought! But then I just took a test, and I came out "older than dirt" myself. And I'm currently working on a B-52 project! (However even I wasn't around in 1945!) :)

A Story is more than just facts to the left-wing media. That would be bad enough, but actually to them a story can be less than just facts, lots less.

I've handled it, I'm still alive, & I'm still firing on both nuts, so what the heck is it supposed to do to you??? It is a heavy metal, and chemically poisoness, but so is lead. Not a good idea to go breathing or eating it, again, the same as lead.
