I'll tell you a very short story.

Several years ago I was in Washington, D.C. to attend a Free Republic gathering. I had the honor to meet (again) Rep. Bob Barr. We spoke for a bit, then I adsked him, "There are over 50 members of The House that are also members of the Socialist Party. Is there anything that can be done about this?"

Rep. Barr replied, "Nothing."

Yes, he was very aware that so many democRATS are avowed socialist.
