A potbellied, middle-aged man stands against a white background. He's listening to a portable music device and singing The Who's classic "My Generation" out loud. Change the channel. A stout, middle-aged woman stands against a white background. She's listening to a portable music device and singing the Sugarhill Gang classic "Rapper's Delight."

There's a chickie in the "SuperFreak" version of those ads who is rather yummy. Couldn't find her photo, tho.

I was very disappointed that iTunes was only for the Mac, but I'm all right now. I found Rhapsody, the RealOne Player-based service that charges a $4.95 monthly fee and .79 per download.

There are hundreds of thousands of titles, and dozens of new ones added weekly, and you can search for and play your fave songs in their entirety fee-free in seconds -- no long Napster/Kazaa download times -- and you don't have to download if you just want to listen.

Check it out now and thank me later.
