Not as long as the so-called *PRINCIPLED* Freepers keep electing *RINOs* like Schwarzenegger, who will sit idly by while *MILLIONS* of *INNOCENT BABIES* are *SLAUGHTERED*!

So, as Governor of California, Arnold will have complete control over abortion in this country? LOL. Frankly I dont see him having any control over abortion. Besides, I heard today that he is AGAINST partial birth abortion which is about all that is in play until the Supreme Court returns the decision back to the states.

Amendments to the budget can fund or defund certain items. "So, as Governor of California, Arnold will have complete control over abortion in this country? LOL. From the California Catholic Conference's legislative alert...

California's Medi-Cal program pays for more than 110,000 abortions a year at a cost of $34.5 million. (See the California Pro-Life Committee website). In California, a pregnant woman can obtain three or more abortions in the same year-all paid for by Medi-Cal with state dollars. This not only presents serious health risks to the woman but sends the message that it's acceptable to use abortion as birth control. Defunding Medi-Cal for multiple abortions is a natural place to save taxpayer dollars.
The governor can veto such legislation. He can also cut the funding of the state agencies administering such programs. Abortion is not at all "out of play" in California, since there are more aspects than just its legality.
