Frankly I dont see him having any control over abortion. Besides, I heard today that he is AGAINST partial birth abortion which is about all that is in play until the Supreme Court returns the decision back to the states."

California's Medi-Cal program pays for more than 110,000 abortions a year at a cost of $34.5 million. (See the California Pro-Life Committee website). In California, a pregnant woman can obtain three or more abortions in the same year-all paid for by Medi-Cal with state dollars. This not only presents serious health risks to the woman but sends the message that it's acceptable to use abortion as birth control. Defunding Medi-Cal for multiple abortions is a natural place to save taxpayer dollars.The governor can veto such legislation. Are you delusional? The courts would force him to pay for them. Dont forget your dealing with the Ninth Circuit of the Federal Court, the most liberal appelate court in the US.
