RECALL SUPPORTERS ATTACKED IN SACRAMENTO
PROTEST AT TAXPAYER-FUNDED ANTI-RECALL WORKSHOP TURNS VIOLENT - DAVIS THUGS ATTACK RECALL SUPPORTERS
ATTACK CAUGHT BY FOX NEWS CHANNEL CREW
Charges To Be Filed as Recall Supporters Rushed to Emergency Room
(SACRAMENTO) Recall Gray Davis supporters were violently attacked a little more than one hour ago by Gray Davis supporters. Those who were assaulted have been taken to a local hospital emergency room in Sacramento.
A protest was underway against taxpayer-funded Workers Against the Recall workshops that were being led by a coalition of labor union organizations including the publicly-funded University of California Institute for Labor and Employment (UC ILE). The UC ILE received $4,000,000 of taxpayers money in the budget signed by Governor Davis one week ago (Saturday).
Protestors were across the street from the event marching peacefully when Davis supporters rushed across J Street in Downtown Sacramento and began beating recall supporters. Davis thugs also attempted to steal and destroy YES on RECALL signs from recall supporters.
Gray Davis anti-recall campaign continues to stoop to new levels. The use of taxpayer money to fight the peoples recall campaign is revolting. The use of violence and physical attacks against recall supporters is disgusting and reprehensible. We call on Governor Davis to save any last shred of decency he has and condemn the use of violence against innocent citizens, declared Recall Gray Davis spokesman, Joe Wierzbicki who was present at the protest.

Our generation saw a lot of leftist violence during Viet Nam. The present younger generation may soon witness what happens when the left doesn't get its way.
Violence is a major chapter in their playbook. When you lose the Presidency, the House, the Senate, the Courts, the Governorships and the State Houses, then brutal, shocking violence is acceptable until they are back in power.
Not surprisingly, this violence will be in support of the Democratic Party. You've heard of that political party haven't you? The Party of Treason and Terror.

Black shirts! Very appropriate. The noncolor of evil, darkness, and despair.
Davis is doomed, no matter how many thugs he pays to show up at these events.

Violence is their basic philosophy. They believe in forcefully stealing from some, to give to others, and to themselves (mostly).

I want to make sure that something gets done about this. Tensions have risen each time we've rallied or protested and now it spilled over into outright violence against our people. A lot of our supporters are getting scared about their physical safety if they attend Recall events and we want to make sure that those involved are fully prosecuted and the sponsoring anti-recall organizations are held accountable.
This is an attempt to use violence to silence free speech among those who support the recall of Governor Davis.

They call themselves "progressive", yet they live in the fantasy world of the animal .
They're envious of the good , hate filled, perverted, whores, drunkards, druggies, felons, thieves, baby killers, sloth's, and what ever pathetic thing you can think of, and they think they should decide for the rules for the people of this country?
They live in a strange, drug induced utopia

It'd be even better if they had brown shirts.

Thanks. Whether or not anyone was "seriously" injured is completely beside the point, to me. Grown men crossing the street to push & shove people? sheesh!

This was definitely not a good move for the dems. If they are trying to get support for No Recall - attacking the Recall people is not a good way to do it.

The voters need to know what forced unionism results in.And to where their "forced upon them" dues go to.
I once worked in a "closed" environment and was threatened with termination because I didn't want to join the "union" for my own benefit. I, of course joined and reaped the benefits of paying $50 a month for nothing but promoting the "liberal agenda" through proxy!

Why don't leftists ever get violent around me. I would love this.I'm thinking the same thing. A few knee caps would be bending the wrong direction before they realized what hit them.

"including the economically disadvantaged, can participate in the state's burgeoning economy." And further, plans are in place so that if money can no longer be dispursed to the economically disadvantaged because the Republicans take over, the economically disadvantaged will participate in the State's bludgeoning operations.

ABOUT THE INSTITUTE OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS LIBRARY The Institute of Industrial Relations Library (IIRL) is an Affiliated Library of the UC Berkeley campus. It serves faculty, staff, students, members of the Institute of Industrial Relations (IIR), other researchers in the UC system,
(anarchists, wobblies, trotskites, communists and assorted leftists) and the general public. Outreach services are of special import
(Particularly beating the crap out of anti-Davis people) .
The Library conducts training sessions ( including use of pick and axe handles, knuckle-dusters and sandbags ) and offers research support for its key on-campus constituencies and also for the Labor Movement. It maintains strong links with community groups, and staff consult widely with academics and citizen-researchers interested in labor issues, labor economics, and organization studies.
The berkey labor library has a great resorce of posters, books and assorted graphics ...can be nicely photoshopped to defeat greyout davis
