Remember how Ronald Reagan talked about the Democrat Party...how he didn't leave it, it left him? Well, the same could be said for the ELCA. I understand there are congregations out in the MidWest already preparing to break away when the ELCA becomes the Queer ELCA in 2005. I am hoping for the resurgence of the ALC, myself.

The ELCA will elect to not make a statement in 2005. The fact that they are spending hundrerds of thousands of dollars on this study says enough to me though.
