OK, so he's a Clymer. Of course, I vote for giving him gravity lessons off the aft ramp of a CH-53E sans parachute.

I read somewhere that he did this - with the assistance of a friend - because he was a Muslim convert, from LA, if I recall correctly. He was also angry at being reprimanded, but basically, he'd had a bad attitude since the start. However, since everything about this has been kept so quiet, I imagine it would be hard to determine what's fact and what's rumor.

Still, he should have gotten death.

You probably read it on FR (read: Rumor Central). The guy isn't a Muslim.

From the Fox News link:

Keller told Boykins to heed the advice of his pastor, the Rev. Stephen Andrew Tillett, who testified he told Boykins to find other Christians in prison and stick with them, and to take college courses while he serves his sentence.

He's apparently a "Christian", not a Muslim.

I suspect that he'll find more than Christians in prison. Hey Bubba, fresh meat on the way.

If I recall correctly, prisoners only earn something like 2 days a month toward early release for good behavior. I think parole is very difficult to attain.

Let's be fair, give him one of the parachutes he tampered with and a sewing kit. Maybe he can have it fixed by the time he hits.

Your incomplete report is in keeping with the trend I predict for the demise of FR: No prose, no text, no reports---just titles and their links. Some day we may be able to dispense with the titles.

Keep it up, you're doing good work...

...for the opposition.

a lot of marines do 20 years

But those really, really looking forward to their retirement do "Nineteen-and-Six"....I'm hazy here, but I think it has something to do with once you get over half a calendar year, it credits the 'lifers' for that year....all the quicker to get on the retirement teat.
