I'm afraid the figure of 52 combat deaths since May 1 seems to be accurate. (I did a quick review of DoD press releases since May 1.)
I was surprised to find that June had about twice as many combat deaths as May, and July had almost twice as many as June. (The figures for May, June and July are 7, 15 and about 26.)
Let's hope August shows a sharp drop-off.

I just saw the guy give the speech on Brit Hume's Fox News show and the quote is not accurate. He did say we will hunt you down and kill you, but before that he said we need you to cooperate and give information about those who are attacking the government, the police, and coalition forces or we will hunt you down and kill you.
My quote is not exact either, but it is closer than the quote in the article.

Actually more murders have occured in DC and Chicago during the same time frame.
How come the media is not holding a death count there?
