$3500.00 filing fee and 65 signatures on a nominating petition.

I think the signature minimum is like 600, not terribly difficult to get. Plus $3500. The recall election alone might cure the state budget.

I don't think you need that many signatures if you pony up the $3500 fee.

I don't recall (no pun intended) the exact breakdown but the more signatures you have, the less money you have to pay. With 64,000 signatures, I believe your filing fee would be in the low hundreds of dollars. The $3500 filing fee corresponds to a very low number of signatures.
