Well then, Mr. or Ms. harpseal, put your money where your mouth is. What could have saved these Sprint jobs? A protective-tariff on overseas telecom providers that allows Sprint to charge more money? A surcharge on Sprint service that allows Sprint to charge more money? A direct transfer payment of your money to Sprint that allows Sprint to hire more expensive help? I'll take "religious belief" over godless socialism any day of the week.

What could have saved these Sprint jobs would have been a tariff on overseas production of Software. Now if you want to discuss specifics of Traiff policy please tell me why you defend Harley davidson not being able to sell motorcycles in China. why is the Rupee subject to currency controls. why do you defend the subsidization of foreign businesses at the expense of american taxpayers. Now if you wish to make a case for tariffs of foreign telecom providers operating in the uSA I will be glad to listen. IOf you are not going to discuss specific trade policies then I will dismiss you as another nut who only wishes harm to the USA and its citizens abnd legal residents.

Ok, a tariff on overseas software, which makes overseas software more expensive to everyone. How many companies or jobs are you willing to sacrifice to protect these several hundred at Sprint?

A tariff wold have made Sprint's services too expensive. Ergo they'd go out of business and whoosh, ALL the jobs would be gone. Why are they too expensive? Unions, lawyers, stupid laws, etc.
