Here is my analysis. I basically took East Coast States (touching the coast plus a few like PA), West Coast States (touching the water) and then Central (everything else). The others are either other countries or cities which I did not recognize.

CHOICE EAST CENTRAL WEST OTHER
YES 25 22 12 3
NO 14 19 1 9
In Favor 64% 53% 92% 25%

I expected the Central percentage to be under 50% so this is kind of surprising. However, nine of the 22 Central 'Yea' votes were from Michigan, Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. There are only 2 'Nay' votes from the same 5 states.

Dropping those 5 states would yield a 13 to 17 vote or 43% in favor which is what I expected. (Didn't realize those states were that much more liberal than the south-central part of the country.)

By the way...my unknowns are as follows:

Yes:
Navajoland Area Mission (Arizona?)
Easton (No idea!)
Convocation of American Churches in Europe (NON US)

No:
Quincy (No idea!)
Eau Claire (No idea!)
San Joaquin (No idea!)
Virgin Islands (NON US)
Honduras (NON US)
Haiti (NON US)
Dominican Republic (NON US)
Taiwan (NON US)
Ecuador (NON US)

If you can help identify these questionable ones, I can update the chart.
