Fantastic pictures today. I've been watching for pics of the "Death Rattlers" and "Black Knights" forever. I met a lady at the snail mail office months ago who had Marine sons on the 2 carriers that had those groups. Finally I can send her pictures. Thanks, Radix.

At my last job I talked to a former Blue Angel on the phone.
He said in the tight formations, i.e. 18"-36" away,
you are trained to look at the rivots on the planes next to you.
He said looking at the instruments etc was not feasible on those formations.
Eye contact with planes only.
