"Whatever Al Gore has to tell us will be relevant," Miss Brazile said. "He has extraordinary foreign policy credentials and experience."

No more than any other private citizen. Actually less given that he's unemployed and just living off wealth that's been given to him by donation.

I don't know what's blazing in his saddle," Miss Brazile said.

Doesn't she have an elegant turn of phrase.

If he's the same Algore he's always been, I'd say he has very little blazing anywhere, especially in his saddle--Rolling Stone's airbush aside. Much ado about nothing.

Has any of the nine candidates said how they would fight the war on terror? We know what their position on the economy is... SEND US MORE OF YOUR MONEY

Their position on the war is....... Bush should have connect the dots before 9/11 and Bush shouldn't have connected the dots before invading Iraq.

At least they're consistant..... NOTHING TO OFFER

I don't care if it's true of false, but it strikes me as retaliation for the Liberals floating the "Powell Is Resigning" story the other day. Let the Democrats go on the defensive over Gore -- is he in or not, whether he himself is even considering it.

"Bush should have connect the dots before 9/11 and Bush shouldn't have connected the dots before invading Iraq"

Actually, the wacked-out loonies who support these bozos believe the real mastermind behind 9/11 was....BUSH! So, by ousting Bush from the White House, voila! No more 9/11s, no more terrorism....see? ;-)

I'm not kidding, btw. Many hard-core Lefties believe Bush directed those planes by remote control in the White House; that the Bush in Sarasota that morning was a body double.

Has any of the nine candidates said how they would fight the war on terror?

Well, if they follow the usual 'rat tack, they will fire all the cruise missiles in the arsenal at some empty tents and take out Osama bin Laden's spare camels by hitting them in their sixes.

They will then ban pilots from carrying guns, pocketknives, emory boards or ball point pens. And then they will hire some more bag snoopers and shoe sniffers for the airport gates and admit them to the Federal Worker's Union where they can never be fired if they donate a percentage of their salary to a democrat candidate or buy a prescribed number of mostly empty-paged books penned by ghostwriters on behalf of unethical DNC politicians.

And of course, the CIA will be made to blow the cover of every operative less ethical than Mother Theresa, and the Company's HUMINT will also be culled down to one Gore campaign staffer and former Clinton aide who will make trips to third-world countries possibly harboring terrorists or dealing with rogue states to sip tea with the locals, ask questions about uranium purchase attempts and also inquire about their answers to the timeless question of "boxers or briefs?" (And maybe his wife too.)

All security efforts will of course have to be approved by the accounting department at American Airlines, and of course, any American foreign policy efforts will have to be approved by Kofi Annan and French and Libyan diplomats before any Democrat congresmen will venture an opinion.

Mr. Gore also blasted the Bush administration for failing to "clarify its idea of what is to follow regime change" in Iraq, a theme echoed most strongly by Mr. Kerry.

I can't decipher this sentence. Is the theme "echoed most strongly by Mr. Kerry" to blast the Bush administration, as Gore does? Or is the theme "echoed most strongly by Mr. Kerry" to clarify the idea of what is to follow regime change?

Whew
