"God has once again brought an Easter out of Good Friday," Mr. Robinson said...

How dare he equate himself with Christ in this obscene manner! The blind, unthinking hubris is absolutely evil.

62-45 vote? To hear the Leftie media you would think it was 100-0.

"God has once again brought an Easter out of Good Friday," Mr. Robinson said after the votes were tabulated, his daughter Ella and his partner of 13 years, Mark Andrew, standing nearby.

That is really an outrageous statement by a "Chrisitian" minister. He is directly comparing himself to Christ, in a very frivolous way.

This is a schism that has been needed for some good many years. I pray it happens, so that the faithful will have true shepherds over them who fear God and honor His Word.

My heart grieves over this folly. As a former Episcopalian, my heart grieves.

Sometimes a house has to divide itself so that what is good can still stand.

If Mr. Robinson cared more about the church than he did about his gay activism, he would never have allowed himself to be the catalyst for a schism.

However, he and those who support him are trying to twist and pervert Christianity to conform to a recent 'innovation' in social thought-namely that homosexual behavior is just another alternative, and that God has somehow changed His mind about it being wrong, to be "up to date" and "modern".

So he's no good priest in more ways than one. He's one selfish and hateful S.O.B. as far as I'm concerned. He doesn't give a damn about how much trouble he's causing, just so long as he can get what he wants.

No intellectually honest person, even if they don't agree with it, can ever say that homosexuality is not considered a sin according to Scripture. Disagreeing or protesting the word of God, or even completely disregarding it is one thing, but trying to tell me that God never said what He said, or didn't mean what He meant by what He said, is insulting to my intelligence and really pisses me off.
