Watch out for this liberal media approach. Many elections have wacky candidates. The reason the media is spinning the recall this way is that they want to make the recall election appear to be a circus, to minimize the chances that Davis will actually be bounced. Davis can't possibly oppose the recall on his record; he can only run against the process.
