You have a provincial world-view. There are dozens of Protestant denominations that are "standing against this gay issue." But then, they aren't the "one and only church" are they?

All due respect to the Catholic church, but you are not alone on this one. THe LCMS stands firmly against this as well. There are several other well-documented examples in the news of the last few days which would also indicate otherwise.
