Thomas Oliphant is hardly an unbiased source. Methinks he is Ketchup Boy's pet poodle here in an attempt to knock Howard Dean down a peg or two. And despite his playing with stats, Dean right now is the Demmycrat candidate getting the most publicity which does translate into votes.
BTW, when the Kerry smear team launches an attack against Dean (led by Chris Lahane) watch how they will try to make it seem that the Republicans were the source of the smear.

Poodle jab aside, does anyone know the dog ownership history of the Democrat candidates? The types of dogs and how long they have responsibly kept them in their family is a pretty good indicator of ones soul. I even cut Senator Byrd some slack on eulogizing his dog on the senate floor. I cannot think of a better activity in the senate. For those brief 20 minutes my wallet was safe and I knew the guy had a heart about some things.

Great question! I would LOVE to know the answer, given the untimely end of X42's photo-op dog.

"The buzz has it that people are warming to Howard Dean because he displays and evokes passion, calls 'em as he sees 'em, shoots straight, eschews idology."
Well, what do you know, Are these not the same things Democrats hate about Bush?
