No room to talk but if he was posing, a full t shirt would have been nice.

Yes, a full t-shirt would have helped. It's not like a photographer just happened to be wandering around his bedroom this morning, so there was nothing candid about this.

I doubt he was really ironing his shirt, to be honest. If you're paying that much for a room, you can afford to get the hotel to iron them for you. I'd love to see an itemized bill for these chickens.

supposedly, a single man was following Van de Putte, and had not only been taking pictures, but yelling out at her. She believes "they" "got" him after he wrote "something" on her door.

Can she tell me the difference between one man's illegal actions and her illegal actions?

It was awfully quiet the whole time we were there. I was the loudest and most aggressive person I saw or heard.

Dems
D. Fahleson / Chronicle
State Sen. Mario Gallegos, D-Houston, watches television in his hotel room in Albuquerque, N.M. Seen on the TV is a live interview with Sen. John Whitmire, also a runaway Houston Democrat. Democratic senators have vowed to kill a redistricting bill by preventing a quorum.

If you have a good monitor, you can tell which channel he's watching.

They look good if you have the body to wear um. Senator Lucio just needs to come back. I think he's letting himself be used because he's considered safe.

So much for big business being a partisan to Conservative Republicans, and their big money winning elections for them.

Congressional districts in Texas today are essentially those drawn by a partisan Legislature in 1991. At that time, a national publication called the Texas map the most outrageously gerrymandered redistricting effort in the nation, resulting in Democratic strength in our congressional delegation well beyond its representation among voters.

Our congressional lines are even more outdated today. When the Legislature failed to draw new lines to accommodate Texas' two new congressional seats in 2001, the job fell to a federal court. The judges made the fewest changes possible to the existing 1991 map, in essence protecting incumbents.

The Republican Party of Texas has placed Want Ads to fill the “vacancies” in the Senate left by Democrats. Even though Texans are beginning to raise serious questions about how the 11 Democrats are paying for their vacation, the senators in Albuquerque continue to spend with little regard for the taxpayer dollars they are wasting.
