The ring is gorgeous. How can anyone not like it? It's very understated.

I think he bought the ring for her not only to say "sorry" but also to start depleting assets so when he is found guilty there will be less $$$ for a civil suit payout.

Ah, garish jewelry! And a beautiful nitwit to boot!

most women have some element of prostitution in their relationship with men at some point in their life If "prostitution" is defined as basically as "compensation for sex", then I suppose you could stretch that to any sort of "compensation", emotional, financial or physical.
Women certainly use sexuality to get what they desire, because it's one item most men cannot do without.
If it's expressed in a loving relationship though, it can't really be called "prostitution".

I was startled none the less. I wasn't sure if it was cynicism, realspeak, or PMS talking. You're still alive and able to type. Not PMS...

The only purple I see in that photo, is on the side of her finger, below the knuckle, where the ring may have bruised her. It is ill-fitting and very ordinary.
Contrast her ring with the one Ben Affleck gave Jennifer Lopez, a beautiful Harry Winston "Pink" Diamond, flanked by two smaller white diamonds, which is a bargain at 1.2 million. :~)

How may guys do this to women everyday? And we stay with them even if all they have is tumbleweed in their wallet...

Everyone acts like they were there. There are 3 sides to the story, his, hers and the truth...

Per her past and the stories her own friends say about her, she seems like she was a girl whom saw a opportunity to sleep with a celeberity. She only went to his room because he was Kobe Bryant. What happens after remains to be seen. He probably wanted to have anal sex with her, she said no, he called her some pretty bad names and put her out of the room, while she was crying. HELLO????? Money hungry women will do anything....including beating themselves up and ripping clothes to look the part... Just my opinion.
