Yet if that postulate is held consistently, aren't Democrats who utilize tax write-offs also stealing from the poor?
Democrats are always talking about the immorality of tax cuts... aren't they actually breaking their own moral code by stealing money from the poor via tax write-offs?
This whole "stealing from the poor" body of rhetoric is logically inconsistent. By definition the poor have little or nothing, so what's to "steal"? If anybody, its should be "the rich" who are targets of the thieves. They've got something someone can steal. If your going to go through the trouble of stealing, why not make it worth your while and steal something from somone who's got something?
So I guess its the Rats who are really the ones doing the stealing, since they with their class warfare and all want to go after "the rich". So the Rats are the real thieves, but we knew that already.
There are two reasons for pointing out their logical inconsistencies, neither having to do with the elites of either major party.
Reason #1 is to make a logical appeal to those rank-and-file Democrats not yet so stultified and emotionalized that they are allergic to logic.
Reason #2 is to remind our own rank-and-file that Republicans take logical consistency seriously, and to innoculate ourselves against the types of emotional fetishes that plague the Democrats.
