I may dislike all of the involved players, but this is a non-issue.

The article brought up another thought that I've been having.

Sure, closing the tax spigot to the government from the pockets of any citizen is perfectly acceptable in the context of GOP values. The point is, from a Democrat perspective, it's stealing money from the poor.

Democrat tax write-offs = hypocrisy.

While you are correct, logical consistency is seldom required for an emotional argument (i.e. the Democrats: writ large).
