I don't think Mary Matelin betrayed Dick Cheney, I think she MAY have siad something in passing to her husband James Carville about Cheney asking the CIA to look into the Iraq/Niger connection, So it would be James betraying his wife.

It isn't like Iraq hadn't purchased "Yellow Cake" from Niger before. In the 1980's Iraq had purchased well over 500 tons of it from Niger. The U.N. made an inventory list of all of their Uranium and placed their U.N. tamper proof seals on the storage containers back in the mid nineties. If Saddam was to use that Uranium the U.N. would find out about it, so that is why he had to try to obtain Yellow Cake covertly

Well I wasn't really right, because I insinuated that a faction in our CIA had fabricated this with the intent of embarrasing the Pres on purpose. I was told to take off me tinfoil conspiracy cap. Anyways someone did fabricate this evidence for a reason. There are only two possibilites, one the democraps have covered, the other is worse (this Debka story). Glad it was the Italians and not our guys. Again it's Debka which is 75% of time pure BS.

But .. I'm still not so sure Hillary will wait until 2008, but your suspicions about them both acting different lately may be a clue. I also find it interesting that x42's book will come out just ONE MONTH before the election. Either she will be running and they're hoping his book will keep them in the news - more than Bush; or she won't be running and whoever the candidate is - x42's book will take the focus off of the dem candidate.

I still believe x42 has some sort of involvement in the Niger mess. The reason I believe that is because when the dems were salivating about Enron, and then Loserman had his investigation - he dropped it like a hot potato when he discovered the dems were involved in it up to their eyeballs. I'm basing my assessment on x42's involvement in Niger the same way.

Here is what I have read about the origin of the forged document.....Just after 9/11 an Italian Journalist obtained the document while doing a story, the reporter contacted our Embassy in Italy and the State Department purchased the document from the reporter. What happened to it between then and when it showed up in the Iraq WMD Intel report submitted to the U.N is unclear, but whoever handled that forged document is the key. There is no connection between the forged document and the SOTU address or Dick Cheney's request for CIA to look into a trip made by group of Iraqi Military officials to Niger in 1999

Terry McAuliffe already helped Bill Clinton to become the POTUS by being his main fundraiser. McAuliffe was put in charge of the DNC for the sole purpose of getting Hillary the actual title of POTUS instead of running things behind the scenes when her sexual preditor husband was the POTUS

What you have to keep in mind about the Clinton's is this...... Anybody who has ever gotten in the way of their quest for power has paid a heavy price. Hillary has always been the one who made them pay.

Hillary spent 8 years cleaning up after their many scandals and I have always considered their relationship as a business deal, not a Marriage. After all the investigations into Whate Water, Travelgate, Chinagate and the Lewinsky scandal, She didn't stick around because of her love for Bill. She made a deal I guarantee it

Well .. The relationship I'm the most interested in is Wilson and the Clintons. With Wilson's wife at the CIA - I can see her tipping off her husband about the yellowcake possibly being a problem. If there is any Clinton connection, I'd say it's here. Certainly Wilson's wife had access to information even Hillary didn't know - and since the Clintons run the DNC - I just keep thinking x42 could have known Wilson was on a fool's errand in an attempt to make Bush's credibility over the yellowcake look very weak.

For Clinton to know even this much could have caused him to tell the dems they better shut up about it. It could have been fairly easy to intercept memos from the DNC to members of Congress - thereby making the radio message a good way to get the word out without Clinton revealing why he wanted them to shut up. Clinton had to tell them - if you continue this investigation - the repubs might be able to connect x42 to the Wilson scam.

I also realize it could have been Hillary who was directing the Wilson matter - but either way - it was the DNC who activated it and Clinton couldn't afford to have the DNC decimated by a scandal .. this could have rendered the DNC powerless just when Hillary needed them the most.
