Muslims, both here and abroad, are quick to whine about a slight to the Muslim community, but when the true face of Islam is shown, and Islamic leaders should be speaking out, they're nowhere to be found.

Any Christian would be foolish to befriend a Muslim who doesn't publicly denounce the violent portions of his faith.

So much for the mis-leaders of US "mainline" denominations (including my own) who support "Palestine", while most of the laypeople know better.

I am so ashamed when I see my local bishop call our denominational counterpart "Palestinian" church our "partner". These "Palestinian" Christians--or their mis-leaders, anyway--are a bunch of brainwashed dhimmis that blame everything on Israel and fawn all over the islamist butcher Arafat (who SLAUGHTERED--together with his other islamist allies--around 100,000 Lebanese Christians, as well as a smaller number (!) of Jews and Holy Land Christians.

Mainline mis-leaders almost NEVER stand up for Christian martyrs and confessors--whether in the Holy Land or Lebanon, in the Balkans, or anywhere else. They prefer to champion the cause of their islamist persecutors, of brainwashed Christian dhimmis, and of the islamist fifth columnists in the US who run most of the (Saudi-funded) mosques in our country.

My preferred partner church is our local Serbian Orthodox church, and the larger church in Serbia of which it is a part. THAT is a partner to be proud of!!!!

I don't know why there is any "shock and dismay" over this sort of news. This has been going on (the Muslim Jihad against Christianity) for years (really centuries). I'm speaking of only about the last decade of genocide against Christians in places such as the Sudan and Indonesia, just to name two. I encourage anyone to subscribe to The Voice of the Martyrs newsletter, which not only keeps one up to date, but offers a proactive way, the best way, to combat this evil. Yes, yes, let's give the Crusades a rest shall we, and read a little more closely concerning this issue.

Exactly...incidents like this are common place in Muslim ruled countries. That is why we enacted the 'separation of church and state' at our countrie's founding. Not separating the state from any religious influence, but preventing the state from mandating religion on its people. (Do you really believe a government 'By the people, Of the people and For the people' would not have religious influences if 'the people' were religious?

I was VERY encouraged by the immediate and stern responses from both the White House and the State Department protesting this brutal act of persecution and suppression of religious freedom that threatens the Road Map and demanding that the culprits be brought to swift justice.
