This is IN NO WAY a Mars-like environment. An intern at NASA PAO must have written this, even the veterans couldn't screw up this bad.

Just because live can live in harsh environments does not mean that it could evolve in harsh climates. We don't need evidence of life from Earth that could live on Mars. We need evidence of conditions on Mars that resemble the conditions on the early Earth.
