Disco bans sleazy old men

A disco in Sandefjord, Norway was fed up with 'sleazy old men' and started refusing entry to men older than 35.

«When men who look older than 35 approach the club we inform them that CatMan's is a disco for younger guests. This information makes most of them leave voluntarily, said the leader of the club, Kim Clausen. According to Clausen, the guests want to get rid of the men who are older than 35.

»On Thursdays the age limit is 18. 18-year-old girls look great and mature men know this«, said Clausen.

Clausen explains that young girls have been bothered by men who stare. As a result, mature men are refused entry at the club on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Men who are accompanied by younger girls are allowed in, however.

»In such cases it depends what the man is like«, said Clausen, who thinks the 'danger' is smaller if the man already has a girlfriend.

Another reason for the upper age limit is the though of protecting the girls from meeting 'daddy's drunken mates' on the town.

Women older than 35 are also excluded from the club.

Nah its non-discriminatory. Old men with young girlfriends are still allowed in - although that is even creepier really. Kinda turns my stomach even at age 27 to be approached by 18 year olds, and when I see 40 year old despos with incipient wrinkles and 20 year girlfriends I wanna heave.

Heh. I don't suppose now is a good time to tell you that I'm married to a 24-year-old woman and I'm 41. We met when she was 19 and I was 36. (Of course, I look 10 years younger than I actually am.)

Just because you can't find a young girl, don't beat up on us old coots that get lucky every now and then :P

The barely legals might be easy on the eyes, but the prospect of having a relationship (i.e. having to talk with) with a girl who hasn't hardly lived seems pretty bleak. Imagine thinking "duh" to every relatively smart personal epiphany she has about the way the world is simply because you figured that out however many years ago. Guess there might be a few smart ones out there that are more mature that most middle aged men, but they're the kinds that aren't hanging out at discos, cracked out on exctasy, and freaking out because she's grossed out by some "creepy old dude." In my opinion :)

Hell no. It's just ...they're so young! I mean I'm flattered and all, and I get it, I look like a 20 year old sometimes (shave and in club clothes)...but it's just not right. And if I should indulge my fancy I don't feel too good about it after.

Gimme a break dude. My girlfriends are both 22, most girls I date are early 20s. It's the teenies that I don't want, and I'm only 27.... And if you want to call 20-somethings "refreshing" at your age that's fine...I call it sad. For me, here's to marriage, unconditional love and a beloved wife at your age!

Yeah, yeah I know. Morally I'm no sexual conservative (believe you me!:-))..and politically I am libertarian. My objections here are neither moral nor political but esthetic ie. old farts with beautiful young girls is just plain icky.
