Freep Foxnews about Bob Sellers! Positive!
Posted on 07/30/2003 2:49:18 PM PDT by ConservativeMan55
Bob Sellers is doing an excellent job filling in for John Gibson today. Fox is definetely back on track. Someone from Foxnews must have read my post on back on 7-19-2003.
I believe the biggest part of the problem was that Brit Hume was on vacation. Memo to Foxnews. Next time Brit goes on a well deserved vacation have Brian Wilson fill in for him.
First I'll start off with Cavuto. What an awesome commentary. I suggest everyone go to the Foxnews.com website
Once there you should go to Neil Cavuto's section and read his commentary on eating the rich.
Then directly after Cavuto went off the air Bob Sellers came on and he has done a fantastic job filling in for John Gibson. This guy is great.
First Bob had on a Political Science director from Virginia who was attempting to claim that Howard Dean wasn't a liberal. Here is how the conversation went.
Bob:
"So Professor. You claim that Howard Dean isn't as liberal as some say he is. It seems to me that he leans way left. How can he appeal to moderate voters? Swing Voters?"
Professor:
"Well Howard Dean is no liberal. He's just doing what Nixon did. He's pulling far left for the primary and then when the actual general election comes around, he will go back more to the middle. Howard was actually not a liberal at all when he ran for Governor of Virginia."
Bob:
"But Professor look at the positions Howard Dean is taking now. He takes shots at the President every chance he gets, he's for gay marriage, he would repeal the tax cut completely, and raise taxes an estimated 4000 percent. What you are describing is someone who isn't very genuine. What values does he have if he's just going to change them for each election? Certainly everyone believes that our current President is genuine. I don't think anyone can make that assumption about Howard Dean."
Then Bob had a one of the bolting Texas Dim politicians on, and he completely ripped her into pieces. At the end he said..."Well you enjoy your stay in New Mexico" She wouldn't answer any of his questions, and he made her look like a fool. Fox needs to get Bob his own show before somebody snaps him up! He's awesome!
Some might remember Bob. He used to do the weekend Fox and Friends show, but it became to juvenile for him so he started doing Foxnews Live.

I thought the man said Virginia. This man he was interviewing had a beard and glasses and you could barely see his face the beard was so big.

Howard Dean is a "traitor" Democrat! Shucks the whole Democrat Party is filled with America haters and traitors! I just wonder what Thomas Jefferson, FDR, HST, JFK and Henry "Scoop" Jackson would think of the current low life in today's Democrat Party. They must be turning over in their graves. Would love to hear what Senator Sam Nunn has to say about his Democrat Party today!

Bob must be feeling great, getting away from those idiots on CNBC. I wasn't too sure about him when he first started on Fox, but now I realize he's one of us........
Thanks Bob, your a great addition to the Fox team.

Exactly. First he got stuck with the idiots at CNBC, and then the idiots on Fox and Friends weekend. Now he seems to have found his niche.

The weekend morning crew are nothing more than
the 3rd string. Julian Phillips needs to be traded
to MSNBC for Scarbourgho..Juliet just needs to be fired.

I agree with you. Julian Phillips is terrible. Juliet Huddy at least provides the eye candy.

Neil Cavuto Rocks!

Your right, Juliet is easy to look at, then she opens her
mouth and all the X-rated day dreams get flushed down to toilet....

LOL! Well You can have your cake and eat it too! Ann Coulter was on Dayside today! She is easy on the eyes, and she is extremely smart!
To: ThreePuttinDude
Juliet seems to be conservative....and it's Saturday MORNING for gosh sakes...who wants anything heavy.
To: Ann Archy
Oh I think Juliet might be more Conservative, but I'm not sure if she even knows what she's talking about half the time. She came straight from being an entertainment reporter.

How do you feel about rich people?
The reason why I ask is I was talking to a couple of financial journalist friends of mine and to a man, they made clear they hated capitalism (search). Which struck me as weird, because as journalists, that's what they cover.
But that's not my point here. This is: I don't have a problem with rich people. Many in my profession do, which is doubly odd, because many in my profession are rich. But again that's not the issue. This is: Not all rich people are bad. And not all rich people are selfish.
Believe me when I say I've known jerks who were poor and jerks who were rich. Trust me, "jerkery" knows no financial pedigree. Money in the bank doesn't guarantee goodness in the heart. Just like poverty doesn't make you a prince, cash doesn't make you a king.
Here's what does: attitude. Do you care? Do you make a difference?
When we focus in this country on tearing down those who've done well in this country, we lose a little something that's good about this country: the ability, we all have, to do well.
Now, do some take advantage of that? Yes. Do some take short cuts and illegal short cuts at that? Yes. I say, punish those rich guys, but don't penalize all rich guys. Rich guys hire people and if they're decent they also can inspire people. Like I said, there's nothing wrong with money in the bank. There's something very wrong with nothing in the heart.
Just know this. The top 1 percent of wage earners in this country pay a third of the taxes in this country. The top ten percent, more than two-thirds of the taxes in this country. They pay so that our government can play.
Yet here's the killer. The very program-loving, boondoggle-pushing, trough-eating, bureaucracy-boosting, subsidy-sucking politicos who get that money, turn around and ream the very people who give them that money.
Now, isn't that rich?
Watch Neil Cavuto's Common Sense weekdays at 4 p.m. ET on Your World with Cavuto.
To: ThreePuttinDude
Kiran Chetry should replace Juliet. She's just as easy on the eyes and twice as smart. Julian Phillips is hopeless. Hire JC Watts, Roger, if you must have a black man.
