The blaring music thats now a standard feature at book signings by Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.) is not part of a new summer marketing campaign.
Its an audio protest by Free Republic, a conservative group, whose members have been showing up with their boom boxes wherever Clinton appears.
Were not hassling her, said Kris Tinn, co-leader of the groups Washington chapter. Its just our way of correcting her version of history.
Free Republic has put together what it calls the 2003 Hilla-Palooza tape for local chapters to play outside bookstores, shopping malls or anywhere else Clinton is signing copies of Living History, her bestselling White House memoir.
The latest play dates were last weekend at Clinton appearances in Little Rock and Blytheville, Ark., where people waiting in line got an earful of rock and country classics, including Evil Woman by the Electric Light Orchestra, Tammy Wynettes Stand by Your Man and The Bitch is Back by Elton John.
Despite the demand, the 12-song tapes are not for sale. That would be illegal, said Tinn.

I'd suggest the cardboard tubes or fat long balloons.
Avoid giving the enemy a chance to steal a stick and incite something. They are evil enough to do it.
IMHO.
Wise as serpents and harmless as doves etc.

Life is good:
We waited for Hillary to leave, and her Surburban had to stop at the light right across from us before turning right to leave. I looked over and there was weldgophardlone wearing the Devil mask and holding the sign "Bill Married My Sister"!! The boombox was blaring the song "Evil Woman"!
I Love Freeping!

Ya know... I think I still have a homemade tinman costume in the attic from one of the kids' Halloween jaunts. But it'd only fit a really short, skinny FReeper...Reporting for duty! LOL! Good luck on Friday's FReep! I'll be there in spirit.

The ones from big rolls of wrapping paper work well. We've had to use these always in NYC, because sticks are not allowed.
