I never heard the reason for grabbing this minor
Are you talking about the kid tyring to "cop a feel" on the police officer? I'm sure the cop doesn't like that to be refered to as his "minor"

Do you know every fact about everything before you comment on it? I didn't think so.
That was why I said I DON'T REMEMBER! Obviously, if I was a know it all like you, I would have pretended I knew it all.
Since you have all the facts, I would be happy to see your source.
Oh, and P.S. Don't try to tell me what to do.

Your first impression is wrong -- read it again.

I never heard that this kid carjacked or sold crack? Source? Hell, they ran this story into the ground for 3 days when it happened. I guess my sources would be ...all television networks and their associated talk shows.
However, if this was wrong then, then I am wrong now, since I have not kept up with the case since the original incident several months ago.

I remember the story being that they were at a gas station and the dad had expired plates. That was the only thing I have ever read as far as why the police were dealing with them at all.
If that's the case, I can't imagine why they would tell his son to go up against the car.
To: DCBryan1
Bryan. The boy's father was stopped for expired tags. The boy ran from the car. It was not a carjacking. That I do know for a fact. If he ever carjacked in the past, it's another issue, but you were wrong here.
I am not opposed to calling things like it is, but you have turned this kid into a monster, which is unfair to him. There are enough monsters out there that we don't need to go slandering folks.

I don't think the cop can be convictedIf 5 jurors found him not guilty, then he will never be convicted.
A hung jury 11-1 or 10-2 against the police officer might have been a different story.
This is good news for the police officer.
FWIW, I think he's guilty of assault, but apparently his lawyers are good picking the right jury.

Ok, youre right. My roomate is here and we are discussing the case and sorting it out. I have this case confused with the one going on in Milwaukee, WI right now. I was wrong, and got this case and its facts confused.
Im going to go cower in the corner now. Sorry.

Agreed. very big to admit an error. Now let us move on.

The boy ran from the car. It was not a carjacking. You acknowledge he ran from the cops but you're worried about being "fair" to him?

Has a federal court stepped in yet to demand a trial at the federal level under 'civil rights'? They will if blood flows due to the antics of anarchist savages.

I believe you all are wrong.
They stopped the dad for expired plates.
The 'boy' started making comments to police and moving toward the officers while they were talking to his father. The 'boy' was told to stay where he was, but he didn't. He kept approaching, and that is when the officers grabbed him and the struggle ensued, where the groin-grab/pile-on/slugging supposedly occurred.
That the boy had a prior felony conviction, may have been a carjacker, drug dealer, and well known to police is information the judge and jury are supposed to deal with.

Tell ya what. If some little twerp were to violently grab me right in the
while I was handcuffing him, why I MYSELF would slam his head so hard on the car truck he would be hearing robin red breast's singing in his head for years.
