I was so ready to believe the walls could bleed on their own. Maybe we'll get lucky and the stain on the floor will be in the shape of the virgin mother.

What do you wanna bet they're going to try to claim some miracle so that the hordes come to worship at their bathroom floor! LOL!
They're gonna have to call in the Monster House crew. Both of you are close, but not quite.
What do you do when the wife wants you to retile the floor?
And ya cants afford someone to rip up the old tile.
(And if yer 70, you really don't want to do it yourself?)
YOU GUESSED IT! Throw some blood, call in forensics, and suggest maybe it's "leaking" from somewheres under the tile.. And no one thinks your a kook, 'cause forensics says it real blood!
Free demolition. File this under: why didn't I think of that...

The Virgin Mother doesn't do bloody walls. A stigmata, perhaps. Tears of blood, maybe. On the other hand, from what people have told me, if adolescent girls ever rub blood in a mirror and chant, "Bloody Mary..." for half an hour, they will wish they hadn't.

The Zen House absolutely rocked. That was one of the smoothest redos they've had yet - a couple weeks ago, they had to fire an electrician on Thursday morning.

....shocking the apartment's 14 inhabitants ....Probably the 15th roommate and nobody noticed why he hadn't paid his share of the rent lately.

I saw the Tiki Room house the other night, personally I don't think I would want a big face sitting on one side of the room. Especially one fire came from the mouth of it. Come in a little tipsy or in the middle of the night and it could give you a heart attack.

What about the electrian on the old west house?? Three days to wire an outlet? They were way too easy on him.

That's the one I had in mind - I mean, I don't know beans about wiring, and I could have done it in three days. Yeesh.

I have been advised that the Tiki Room is a real honest-to-God fire hazard. Plus, I'd be worried about my less-than-sober friends who might lurch near it while wearing something flammable . . . to say nothing of the heart attack potential. It was tres cool, though.

Thanks. Will have nightmares tonight just from that picture. That movie scared the crap out of me so bad when I was around 9 or 10 that I didn't sleep without a light on for a week!!

Your parents let you watch the Shining when you were 9 or 10?

No they didn't 'let' me. Saw it with a friend's parents. Needless to say, I wasn't allowed to hang out with that friend or even go to his house after that. And yes, it was an absolutely dumb thing to do, and I would not allow a kid to watch it.
