Why Spanish blood in any melanin category should qualify you for some sort of sympathy is beyond me. They had a hideous empire which elicited the phrase "Spanish Cruelty" across the lands they conquered. They weren't "oppressed", they were the Opressors! Maybe it's sympathy for the Devil...

I know....when I read this article, I thought "Richardson is Hispanic?" I remember from Clinton days, and he didn't look like it.
