Americans are traditionally lazy when it comes to standing up for their beliefs. But there is also this: Americans will fight to the death when their backs are against the wall, and they believe they have nothing left to lose.

Laziness is a part--but the real predicate is inertia.

And, frankly, it's very hard for ANYONE to believe that the US Gummint, or even most local yokels, are out to grab the guns and impose unilateral rules/regs/laws.

Think about it...

With Hillary back in the White House, however, the perceptions might change.
