excellent post, this is what is going on with discussion too. Even in public gatherings you can't voice your opinion in favor of conservative posititions because you don't want to be labeled. I know young conservative lawyers who simply can't be open with their opinions because they work for the state or public defenders and that would be suicide for their careers. (imagine a PD who says homosexuals can seek treatment for their behavior? or one PD who can't admit to the pro-gore feminist supervisor he is assigned to that he voted for Bush.)
BTW moving firearms discretely is always a good policy regardless.

They'll take my gun away if I do that, he told the desperate girls, whose brother and sister were dying horribly at that moment. Why the hell keep a gun in the first place if you won't even use it to stop a lunatic from murdering a family with a pitchfork!?!?!
What a hero...

Thanks for posting this. Claire Wolfe is great, IMO -- I wonder if she and Ann Coulter know each other?

There's a lot of truth in this post, and it says a great deal about the people of this nation.
At one time our society was more primative, and the people wouldn't tolerate what today's people tolerate.
As Americans became more advanced they also became more tolerant to government intrusions.
What good is there to being a part of an advanced society if the advancements take us into the past?

Even Americans, innovative though they are, cannot make Socialism work, no matter what it is called for political marketing purposes.
