BUt is that true? It seems to me he hasn't been "given" success. He has earned it in a free market. He offers something up for sale, we buy it. Or not. He also has done what Baldwin et al only blather about. He has gone someplace else where he is happy. The closest thing to an offensive remark quoted in the article is where he says the war is "about money." He's wrong, and that statement is trite, but it isn't anything like what the Blixie Chicks said.

Johnny Depp has a distorted world view. But he doesn't offend me. I enjoy many of his films and will continue to do so.

So add me to your boycott list.

Johnny has the freedom of speech, and he's using it. Just like any of us here are. Who are we to criticize what he says. He has every right to express is opinions and views just as much as we do.
