Every time I've seen a preview for this I say the same thing:
Someday, in the dim and distant future, some one will figure out how to make a movie about a horse that's not a sad pathetic chick flick

The Dallas Morning News gave it a very good review.
Interesting that there is obviously a paper in the area more liberal than the DMN.
What a sloppy track this reviewer was on.

Hmmm...conservative talk-show host Hugh Hewitt (Constitional law prof at
Chapman Univ. Law School, he also helped get the Nixon Library off the ground)
was really singing the praises of the film...

Oh, even if you don't see the film, you might want to check out PBS's "The American Experience"
episode on the career of Seabiscuit that is being rebroadcast on PBS on Monday
(maybe most stations).

Saw the movie on Saturday... fantastic! Not a chick flick at all.
And looked for all the things this reviewer carped and complained about. Never saw them! I don't think she saw the movie at all.
Oh, well... why let that get in the way!! LOL!
