figures.....your silence demonstrates once again how wrong you are. Give up your rantings ...repent and believe in the Lord Jesus as the Church which he founded intended. I don't have a hate fulled bone in my body...but you obviously hate anyone who disagrees with you. My life is full of joy....yours filled with bigotry and prejudice. Very very sad, why in the world would i want to join your sect of angry, bigoted so called Christians when i know the joy of fullness of life and can share in the resurrected life of the body and blood of Jesus in the Eucharist. Join you? I'd have to be crazy. I pray that you will someday remove the plank out of your own eye and be touched by the love that knows no bounds.

"Silence"?

1. You pervert and slander God's Word to prop up yourself and your sect.

2. When refuted openly and unanswerably on the most palpable error, you won't confess and amend.

3. Your sect is your god, and it is a god that cannot save. The Bible makes that clear.

Not what I'd call silence, on my part. Reading comprehension problem on yours, maybe. Spiritual problem, certainly.

You have not addressed one ...NOT one scriptural issue i raised...that is silence. You have refuted nothing, absolutely nothing. Your God is your own dilusion and I truly feel sorry for you. You have no clue what a Catholic believes. All you have to do is ask me. But I know you won't do that because your pride, arrogance and self righteousness won't allow you.
1 billion people is not exactly a sect but a main line religion. Yours however is a sect of exactly 1. I have many evangelical friends and have deep and abiding respect for how they live and believe their Christian faith and they mine. Your version of evangelical Christianity is an abberation of what they believe. So go spread your anti-catholic venum somewhere else, we honest Christians ( yes Catholics are christians) respect and love one another.

Besides, I've remembered:the ball is still in your court, Carville. You have unfinished business. Nothing different until you deal with that.

It's quite simple really. It's a testimony to the power of God's grace. God is eternal, that is timeless. The salvation brought to humankind by the blood of Christ stands at the pinnacle of all history. St. Luke calls Mary "full of grace". Full of grace means there is no room for sin. There is no way for anyone to be full of grace except by the cross of Jesus. There is nothing about the role of Mary in salvation that can be separated from the salvation brought by Christ. Because of grace we are a new creation, a new humanity. So on a mystical spiritual plain just as Eve is the mother of all creation born of sin so Mary becomes the mother of the new creation born by grace.

And as you know that grace happens when one comes to the cross of Christ and accepts Jesus as personal Lord and Savior.

Believe it or not I do agree with you that there are some Catholics who carry their devotion to Mary too far to the point of turning her into a goddess. But God chose her to be the Mother of my Lord so who am I to argue with His choice.

Dead wrong, no argument, and no argument, respectively.

Now back to 346.

It's not an argument its a matter of faith. You can choose not to believe it..that is your privledge. A reasonable person can extrapolate from the Bible without in any way perverting God's Word....e.g. that the world is round when Genesis chapter one clearly presents a world view that the earth is flat...and that slavery is immoral when the Bible gives no indication one way or the other.

If you had a record of being able to do real dialogue, caring about truth and not just propping up a sect (and yourself), and admitting when you're clearly dead-wrong, I'd respond more specifically.

That not being the case, we're still at 346.

It seems you are the one who doesn't know how to dialogue. Dialogue means attempting to understand another's point of view. You have no interest in understanding mine. I thought we were achieving a breakthrough in conquering your dispicable prejudice and bigotry...but obviously not. I thought there was hope for you....but again obviously not. There is nothing in any of my posts that demeans or disrespects your faith. But you have not stopped casting stones at mine. That is not exactly what I call Christian behavior.

Among the many things you know but choose to ignore is this: 346 goes way back. Still waiting on you.

If i choose to ignore it ( which i haven't ) I have come to the conclusion that its a waste of time 'arguing' with you because you have no interest at all in learning about what I believe. So why should I cast my pearls before swine. Talk to me when you can do so with Christian civility and root out your nefarious anti-catholic bigotry. #346 has nothing to do with you anyway, it is just your way of avoiding the issues that i have raised with you directly. Besides I know you well enough now that if i wrote a 10 page, 20 page, 100 page treatise on 346..you'd pay no attention to it anyway and continue to cast stones.

Your issue: deal with 346. Ignoring plus 150000 blah-blah-blahs leaves you in the same place, objectively.

Whatever your little heart needs to think in order to hang on to your petty prejudice is fine with me. As for me I am shaking the dust off my feet and moving on to those whose hearts are open to God's grace not to one who's heart is so blinded by hate of anything catholic that his heart is stone cold ( and i don't mean the wrestler.)
