Well, Dubya made Jeb mad enough to issue a statement because the Feds sent Cubans back to face prison or death. You know, the guys who turned a pickup into a boat? Dubya returned Cubans back to Cuba for prison or death.
What illegals is your friend livid about and is she sure that they're illegals? Your friend should compare Florida to California. California created their illegal immigration problem.
As far as migrant farm families in Fla., Jeb is pro-active to get those families to read and write English.
You give democrats hope when you rant against Bush and you give undecideds doubts when you rant against him. Is that your intention? I hope not because the WOT isn't over and I don't want a democrat commander in chief. I wouldn't feel safe at all then. I'd be making a safe room election night.

If Bush continues, and he will, his globalist policies of open borders and sending our jobs over seas he will lose big time.

Yes, she is sure they are illegals. They are in Michigan. And she runs the gauntlet at the gas station, same as I do, and I venture to say you are also experienced with this, by the non-english speaking gang that pours out of the back of a run down construction crew truck.
GWB has consistantly made it clear that he will not deal with illegal immigration from Mexico in the way the laws of the USA currently state. He does not see a "problem" with uncontrolled "migration" from south of the border. He, and most politicians, would much prefer the subject not be brought up, at all, by anyone.
God forbid that any citizen of the USA is wrong by thinking illegal immigration a big issue that the POTUS is hoping nobody will call him on.
When he is wrong, he is wrong.
What purpose does it serve to pretend he is perfect?
Tell me,FV,if GWB went against your views on your personal priorty on an issue, would you happily just shut up and vote for him? Or would you weigh the pros and cons before you supported the man? Is questioning his actions and demanding he explain his position on this subject subversive?
Are we all supposed to pretend to agree with him on every issue?

California was only in part responsible ---but it's the federal government that has the responsibility of protecting the borders ---and now that California will soon be cutting programs, the indigent population pouring over from Mexico and other countries will head to other states. They will go where the biggest handouts are ----and every state has more handouts than the Mexican government does. The immigration problem we see now is only the tip of a very big iceburg.
