(Are these people for real?)

No thanks needed. I suggested the same thing the other day. Foreign nationals who want freedom should obtain it just the way our forefathers and current troops secure(d) it for us to this day. I don't begrudge anyone coming here, but don't play this "I came by choice so I'm better song and dance."
Our nation is a melting pot and was never intended to become balkanized. When people come here there are responsibilities that go with it. Honoring our founding fathers and the sovereign borders that they and our fellow countryment fought to secure for us, is just part of that issue.
Most customes known to man have come to these shores. They are a part of what made us great. Contributors from all nations have made great contributions here and should be honored for them.
Nobody is above anyone else here, but US citizens have every right to expect newcomers to learn our language and respect our values and culture. And I might add, there is no reason why any US citizen should sign on to a plan that will make their majority born children, minority adults.
This nation was founded on northern European values and we improved on them. There is no reason for us to be ashamed of them and willing to deep six them in the quest for inclusion.
