We saying they are dead will not do it.
We showing the Iraqis that the brothers are dead... that will do it.
Indeed. And it seems they have gotten the message. I think their response may not be quite what we'd had in miond, though:
We are at war. We are being opposed. Unfortunately, American soldiers are dying.
I wish that all our men and women could come home. That is not going to happen.
What they are doing is necessary and needed. The war on terror must be won. We must stand and fight until we are safe.
Even after the death of Saddam, there still may be resistance... This resistance must be met... and we must stay even though American soldiers may die.
In the end... each death will be honored as the price that was paid to make us safe from Islamic terrorism.
