I an sorry to say that Body bags with American Soldiers are being filed everyday. And the people support the war by wide margins
Tax breaks-That money will mean nothing come election day. Do you hear anyone talking about the first one? And to think that in a year and a half someone is gonna care is niave.
Yes, I hear from all sort of people that they are greatfull the taxes are lower. I prepare their income taxes. The second round of checks are being sent in a few weeks. Watch.
Sure Dubya lowered our taxes but you had better be honest with yourself about it. First, it gets reversed in a few years AND we are about to get stuck with a estimated 400 Billion dollar Social program, we can't afford.
The reversal is another brilliant tactic. The continuation of the tax breaks will become a campaign issue. Second, the public doesn;t seem to care abiout the deficits and the economists say they are reasonable given the slow economy, the war and the ratio to our GNP.
Care to wager how that gets paid for. Increase of SSI or Mecare witholding and or the increase in the age of Retirement?
Increased economy.
You think your getting a deal?
The onllway to bring spending down is to starve the beast. Frankly, I'd rather see the elderly get health care than use the money for the favorite pork of the day.

Take a look at the House vote for Reagan's tax cuts in 81. Reagan went over Tip O"neill's head with the help of 50 or 60 boll weavil democrats.
Take a look at any tax decrease bill in the House today and you may have 4 or 5 voting for the tax cut bill.
A lot of the boll weavils either became Republicans or were rplaced by Republicans when the Pubbies gained seats in state legislatures, especially in the south.

Then my vote is only a statement of personal belief---in which case I'll cast it for the candidate whose platform I most agree with.I was wondering when you would get around to that stock answer.
I'm wondering when you will get around to a substantive response.

I have YET to hear one cite (the actual citation of an article from a given publication) from him on the air as the basis for the incredible claims he makes, claims that ALWAYS slant towards the well-established one-world/ New World Order 'view' he has ... Since his documentation comes from mainstream news sources, you can check out the accuracy for yourself....he posts the articles on his website.
He BLEW it regarding Y2K too BTW - were you aware of this? - completely BLEW it - no gov't takeovers, no seizure of power et cetera.
Actually, Alex was one of the few who got it right concerning Y2K.

From a GOP-controlled Congress. Actually for one year the demos controlled the Senate and the Senate is filled with RINO's, Chaffee, Snowe, McCain, etc.

OK. Doesn't change the fact that Dubya has a House majority---and the veto power.

Maybe someone can answer, who was the (R) candidate in NJ who Bush threw under the bus and would not support, and instead opted the safe route and backed the RINO? Was it NJ? Thanks in advance.
Actually, which RINO's did Bush actively campaign for?

Lower taxes, strong military, fighting the war on terrorOkay he's hawkish, never mind fighting the war on terror would actually mean taking the fight to the terrorists in Saudi Arabia
demanding standards from educators
And how is maintaining a standard for education at the national level conservative? It's another misassumed right at the national level
encouraging a culture of life,
Not speaking out when the Supreme Court condones sodomy doesn't sound like it encourages life, well maybe deviant life
acting like a gentleman even when the Rats are attacking, being president of all the people.

Schundler wasn't thrown under a bus. He won the primary. Bush did recorded telephone calls for him. Guiliani, who was very popular becuase of his performance during the 9/11 crisis, actively campaigned for him.
Schundler lost because NJ was liberal. Seeing McGreevey's latest poll ratings it seems that a lot of NJ voters are having buyers remorse.

This Administration has supported the creation of a new Federal Department...
Who was the Republican Congressman who pleaded for a zero-sum policy when it comes to Federal departments? He said something like "can we please get rid of Commerce or something?" It was hilarious; I just can't think who it was.
