Maybe someone can answer, who was the (R) candidate in NJ who Bush threw under the bus and would not support, and instead opted the safe route and backed the RINO? Was it NJ? Thanks in advance.

Actually, which RINO's did Bush actively campaign for?

BS. Schundler wasn't thrown under a bus. He won the primary. Bush did recorded telephone calls for him. Guiliani, who was very popular becuase of his performance during the 9/11 crisis, actively campaigned for him.

Schundler lost because NJ was liberal. Seeing McGreevey's latest poll ratings it seems that a lot of NJ voters are having buyers remorse.

California (He backed Riordan instead of Bill Simon). He also didn't campaign for Schundler for NJ governor.
