Condolences on your fathers passing. I know how you feel my dad also passed away this year in March. He had 82yrs of life and the last 20 or so he devoted to his Lord and Savior so his passing was much more accepting by all knowing where he would be. Sorry to hear of your loss but happy for your memories that you will always have and pass on to yours.

Thank you. (Dad was only 75; his parents lived well into their 80's, so thought we'd have him longer. But, especially after reading some of tonight's thread, his earlier passing was probably a blessing; dad had been in failing health for awhile and was beginning to have the memory lapses due to hardening of the arteries, which made him very short-tempered toward the end. But we all were able to be with him at the hospital, either when or shortly before he died.)
