O'REILLY: All right. I don't want to debate McCarthy, he's dead, and....

COULTER: Well, OK, but, look, that's how powerful the myth is. I'm responding to the blackening of a man's name, and people say, oh, that's mean.

Coulter stuck it in O'Reilly's commie-defending ear.

I received her book for my birthday just before we went on a camping trip. I read it in 3 sittings.

How could he have her as a guest and not ask her about the communists in the defese department? Even if all he did was read the title of the chapter..."Were there Communist Agents in the Defense Department?"

The parallel universe she created, highlighting the positions now held by Karl Rove and Andy Card, the IMF, Rumsfeld's aids...he could have had some real substance but he went for confrontation defending a coke head.Pitiful.

A weird interview. Never heard of Kate Moss. I take that back, I must have heard of her because I read Treason . That is how important she is to what Coulter wrote.

All in all, a sad performance by O'Reilly. If Bill had not moved on so fast when Coulter caught him on HUAC, I would have thought that a set-up.

O'Reilly is a moron, but his show is nevertheless entertaining. Why people call him a "conservative" is quite beyond my comprehension. He is more along the lines of the late Gov. Bob Casey, ideologically speaking.

I didn't see this particular interview, but I hear the two of them as I read the transcript.

The clipped, machine-gun style of O'Really never did anything for me but create a frustration that demands a complete sentence.

Neither O'Really nor his guest (whomever) really says much of anything because of his style.

That being said, O'Really never interviewed Ann and Ann never got off the ground in any thing being suggested.

I hate O'Really and Ann should never had agreed to this.

As I read the transcript, Ann cannot get started and ultimately (to the O'Reallians) looks foolish.

Sound's like O'Reilly is a little jealous; maybe her honesty is disconcerting to him, he most definitely was "spinning" this time.
I don't like the way Bill treats bible believing Christians; but what can you expect from a moderate?
