What ails these idiot reporters????????

These are the same reporters that reported the gun was "silver".

A silver plated gun isn't very common unless your name is Hussein. They meant to say "chrome". But they know nothing about most things, including guns. I'm surprised they didn't say it was a silver automatic revolver.

I was held up at gun-point one time and I described the gun to the policeman. I said silver because I was referring to the color. In the aftermath of that horrible event, I really just tried to spit out the color of the gun as I saw it. The policeman patiently explained to me that silver guns were very rare and I was really ticked. I knew what I saw. I described color; he meant material. I assume that is what is happening here.

I think we can cut them some slack on that.... its a description - a color - nothing more.
