According to WTMJ, Fox 47 in Madison is under siege, receiving hundreds of angry phone calls over an advertising decision. The station declined to run a Democrat ad that accuses the President of lying in the SOTU speech, because the ad intentionally misquotes him. In the ad, the famous "sixteen words" are edited so that the stuff about the British government is no longer included.
Their phones are jammed, but here are the email and fax numbers:

I couldn't believe the ad when I heard it on Rush. If I didn't know better I would think Bush intentionally lied. Amazing editing of the quote.

They are being pressured to advance a lie to damage a Republican president. Welcome to Madison.
(Fortunately, the place is surrounded by normal people.)

I just e-mailed my support to them for not showing it, many other stations will run the aid, and people will be mislead.
Does anyone have a link to this ad on the internet?

Madison is to WI what Austin is to Texas.
A beautiful city, populated by liberal inbreds.
No wonder the Rats aired the commercial there first.

We will be vacationing near thre in the next couple of weeks. I let them know that we'll be watching Fox 47 when there, and will patronize their sponsors and tell their sponsors why we're there.

Sounds like principle wins over the mighty advertising dollar. This is truly refreshing.

Unfortunately, Madison, being the beautiful city it is, once was, is smack in the middle of the University of Wisconsin (or vice versa).....liberals, liberals, liberals...running amuck.........
