WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The White House, attacked by critics for a now-retracted line about Iraq seeking uranium from Africa in President Bush's State of the Union address, has gotten some surprising support from former President Bill Clinton.
"I thought the White House did the right thing in just saying 'we probably shouldn't have said that,'" Clinton told CNN's Larry King in a phone interview Tuesday evening.

No, he didn't. While the Demonrat spin machine has backed itself into a corner on this
100% accurate comment, Clinton is taking the stage to defuse the backlash.
On a related note, he's also pointing the finger at the nine dwarves to make sure no one gets too popular so Hillary can step in if they make one of these fabricated scandals stick to President Bush.

i.e Hillary just decided to run in 2008, not 2004.
Klintoon just joined the Committee to Re-Elect Bush.

Bubba knows the dems are backfiring. Will they listen?
To: bedolido
Typical spin from Clinton, where he makes a moral equivalence to his own failings.Trouble is that Bush didn't get it wrong, neither did Blair and MI6 intelligence, so there is no mistake and nothing to apologize.I guess he has decided that the DNC can stop using his strategy now to discredit the WH and the War.
Thanks Bill, for alerting us that the carping with now cease.

...Of Course BILL CLINTON wants to move on:
WHY did the CLINTONS refuse 3 No-Strings Offers during the 1990's to extradite our No. 1 Terrrorist Enemy OSAMA bin LADEN from the Sudan to a U.S. Jail and Trial that would have prevented the Attacks on us all on September 11, 2001..?
The Broker of these Offers confirms.
The Sudan Ambassador to the U.S. representing the President of Sudan during these Offers confirms.
The White House Political Advisor to the CLINTONS ..DICK MORRIS confirms.
So where's ABC, NBC, CBS News confirmations on this..?

Nothing with these two is ever off the cuff or accidental. He's saying this to discredit the current Democrat candidates. If the President looks vulnerable, Hillary jumps in. If he appears impregnable, she waits until 2008. The only scenario they can't have is another Democrat winning in 2004. That would put Hildebeast out of it until 2012.

I think this is the opening salvo in Hillary! 08.
This whole uranium-Africa flap was starting to hurt Bush. If a Dem wins in 04 Hillary has to wait until 12 to run -- she'd be old news by then. So, surprise, surprise, Bubba starts helping Bush and undercutting the DNC.
To figure out the Clintons, just remember it's all about them -- and nobody but them -- 24/7/365. That inlcudes their own party.

The scumbag is alerting all that the DNC's plan is all played out and now onto other approaches. It almost makes me think that Bill orchestrated the whole mess himself ;-)
To: ken5050
Actually Clinton thinks that his bombing may have eradicated part or all of the WMD's. Another self serving appearance by D.S.

He is CTA big time. He knows Pubs are mounting counteroffensives and he will look really bad if he doesnt say this. I think its all about his legacy, and his party is just another FOB to screw and dump.

I wonder what the scheming degenerate scumbag is up to. Doing his part to make sure Hillary can run in 2008, and doesn't have to wait 'til 2012.
And he might have info that we've found some WMD. ....So he's merely attempting to stay ahead of the curve.
