[history]
The president of the labor union that is paying for Gov. James E. McGreevey's trip to Puerto Rico this week said yesterday he expects his organization may soon be named in a federal racketeering suit.
John Bowers, president of the International Longshoremen's Association, made the surprising comment in his opening remarks to union delegates at the convention in San Juan. McGreevey will address the convention today.

One term Jim strikes again. If Schundler doesn't wipe the floor with him, this state is doomed.

One term Jim strikes again. If Schundler doesn't wipe the floor with him, this state is doomed. No price is too large to pay to keep all abortions legal and guns hard to get in New Jersey for all too many nitwits here. I'm sure that same idiots that sent the corpse of Frank Lautenberg back to Washington will be more than happy to vote for McGreevey again.

New Jersey politicians cannot be bought.
They are among the cheapest rents on the block, though.

Wonder if he will fall off a sand bank and break his leg like he did in Wildwood, NJ just after he was elected .

One-turn Byrne, elected and re-elected. NJ deserves what it gets, an income tax, sales tax, increased business taxes, traffic and tolls on the parkway, sin taxes, real estate transfer fees, gasoline wholesale tax, gas taxes and higher property taxes.
Most people in NJ don't even know that before 1975 we had NO income and sales taxes and that the income tax was supposed to be temporary.

$13 Billion in Sales and Income taxes alone!! How did we do it before 1975 without that revenue?? How does FL and TN survive without an Income tax? See, here in NJ we have 21 counties and about 575 municipalities and about 611 school districts, each with their own city hall, police dept. and school superintendents/staff. So, instead of having 21 county sheriffs in charge of public safety, we have close to 600 police depts. including county and municipal, and the same goes for schools, instead of having 21 county school systems, we have over 600.
When you go down south, the county runs public safety, health, law inforcement and the schools just fine but not here in NJ. Yes, even metropolitan areas like Dade county FL and Prince George's County VA can do it, so could we.
