They're interviewing Perry Smith, radio talk show host in Denver.

Perry's "source" has told him that Kobe and the girl knew one another PRIOR to the alleged rape on June 30.

Perry is opining that the DA is over-zealous, and happy to bask in all the publicity this case is generating.

According to Perry (speculation) a couple of the Lakers have knowledge about Kobe and the girl's relationship prior to the incident.

NOT a bombshell, IMHO. An un-named source is an un-named source, be it Perry's or Rita's or Abram's etc.

I wonder how much the "source" is being paid for his services. You know, I am trying to give Kobe the benefit of the doubt, but the more this girl is trashed the more inclined I am to believe her.
