Starr has continued that they are going on specific intelligence given to American officials tracking Hussien and his son's.
There was some witch on FNC yesterday morning saying that she had it from reliable sources that Saddam was moving around, not staying in one place more than 10 hours. Getting up before morning prayers and moving to another location. I figured she was being duped. The moving around shell game had worked for Saddam when he was in control. Now, moving around all the time would be deadly. I figured he was underground somewhere, in some bunker that very few people knew about.
On the other hand, it occurred to me that despite what the liberals think, Saddam is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and that looking for small convoys or checking vehicles moving in the pre-dawn hours in certain locations might be something we'd want to do.

I figured he was underground somewhere, in some bunker that very few people knew about. Your post took me back to the main war. Remember all those rumours about the extensive tunnels under Baghdad that linked up Saddam's palaces? We never saw any footage of those things...I wonder if they turned out to be just rumours.

that Saddam was moving around, not staying in one place more than 10 hours. Nah, she was probably right. I believe he learned that from his good bud, OBL.
